The Artisan Food Village
We are proud to be a part of a group of artisan producers based at Norton Barton Artisan Food Village.
Based on the coast of North Cornwall, Norton Barton is home to Cornish Charcuterie, Popti Cornish Bakehouse and The Cornish Distilling Co. Owned by Richard and Fionagh Harding, Norton Barton Farm was granted Food Enterprise Zone (FEZ) status in 2015, making it one of only two FEZ’s in Cornwall, and the only Artisan Food Village in the UK!
Work is currently taking place at The Food Village on a new distillery for The Cornish Distilling Co, and it is hoped that the village will be open to the public year round from Easter 2019!
Producers at the Artisan Food Village
Popti Cornish Bakehouse made deliciously moreish savoury biscuits and crackers for cheese – all from natural ingredients that you would find in your kitchen at home. They also work perfectly with our British pates, rillettes and cured meats! A great addition to any charcuterie or cheese board, they come in a range of flavours and are perfect for any occasion. The Cornish Distilling Co. create genuine British rums from scratch on the farm. Every bottle of rum is made by Head Distiller Tom from start to finish. The current range of rums include spiced rum, white rum and the award-winning Kalkar coffee spirit. Explore the British rum range and shop online
